Teslog ("we," "our," or "us") is an iOS application that connects to your self-hosted TeslaMate instance to display your Tesla vehicle data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

3. Your Tesla Data

Teslog is a client for your self-hosted TeslaMate instance. All Tesla data — including drive history, charge sessions, battery status, vehicle state, and location data — is fetched directly from the TeslaMate API URL you configure.

This data is:

• Fetched directly from your server to your device
• Never transmitted to Teslog's servers
• Never stored, logged, or analyzed by us
• Under your full control at all times

4. How We Use Your Information

The limited account and configuration data we store is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session
• Sync your TeslaMate API configuration across your devices
• Restore your app settings if you reinstall or switch devices

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the Teslog service.

5. Data Storage and Security

Account and configuration data is stored securely on our backend infrastructure, hosted on industry-standard cloud providers. All communication between the app and our backend is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

Your TeslaMate credentials are encrypted on your device before being uploaded. We store only the encrypted ciphertext and cannot decrypt it server-side.

Authentication is handled by Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. We do not store passwords.

Teslog integrates with the following third-party services:

• Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.) — Identity provider for authentication. Apple Privacy Policy
• Google Sign-In (Google LLC) — Identity provider for authentication. Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — Secure authentication infrastructure used to verify sign-in sessions. Firebase Privacy Policy

We do not share your information with any other third parties, and we do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking services.

7. Data Retention

Your account and configuration data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from within the app, all associated data is permanently deleted from our backend within 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy

Teslog is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us to have it removed.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of Teslog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
